We’d like to invite you to submit original artwork for Wimberley StoryFest 2023. The artwork will be juried, and selected work will be displayed for sale in a silent auction during our kick-off gala event on January 12, 2023, at Old Glory Ranch in Wimberley.
We ask artists to submit work based on the theme of the evening: ‘Once Upon a Time’…where our stories began
The centerpiece of the evening will be the premier screening of Elizabeth Buckley’s documentary film: ‘The Stars at Night’
The film features: the connection between the night sky and mythology; astronomy; ancient legends; and Native-American stories…

- W.F. Strong, our narrator for the evening, and other story tellers will connect and entertain us with an exploration of stories
- We’ll enjoy live music and thoughtfully prepared culinary offerings with wine and beer pairings
- A juried art show, featuring amazing area artists, will be on display
- A star party, complete with telescopes for viewing Wimberley’s night sky, will top off the evening
